METRO DEAL transforms plastic waste and waste tires into highly valuable outputs using technology called thermal depolymerization or better known as pyrolysis. The pyrolysis process uses sorted shredded waste which is decomposed at high temperatures in a retort without air, so the waste does not burn and does not produce any harmful emissions.
Plastic pyrolysis oil is mainly used as fuel combustion, primarily in boiler heating, cement factories, steel factories, and heavy-oil generators. It can also be reprocessed and refined to produce clean diesel fuel.
The main application of produced syngas is the generation of power and heat, either in stand-alone combined heat and power (CHP) plants or through co-firing in large-scale power plants.
Black carbon powder has expanded uses, including pigmentation, UV stabilization, and as a conductive agent in high-performance products such as tires and industrial rubber.
